Rosario Kennedy & Associates, Corp. has long provided lobbying and governmental consultation to corporate clients, individuals, and professional associations before local, state, and federal governmental agencies. We specialize in the City of Miami and Miami-Dade County Governments, where we monitor client issues and effectively communicate their positions to legislators and key legislative staff.

Our Chief Executive Officer, Rosario Kennedy, was the first Hispanic woman elected to the Miami City Commission, where she also served as Vice Mayor until 1989, when she resigned her Commission seat to seek the Democratic nomination for the 18th Congressional District. In 1991, Rosario Kennedy & Associates was incorporated to provide strategy and implementation on legislative issues for local and national clients. Rosario’s legislative experience and “insider” knowledge of the City of Miami and Miami-Dade County governmental infrastructures have served her clients well. Each member of RKA’s Leadership Team has an in-depth knowledge of the legislative and regulatory process through hands-on experience. We continually cultivate relationships with people within the governmental structure.

Gustavo Godoy

Gustavo Godoy, affectionally known as Tito, is a veteran television news producer with over 20 years of experience covering major world events from Latin American conflicts to Operation Desert Storm in the Middle East. During his tenure with CNN, he saw world events as they unfolded from a vantage point few experience, shoulder to shoulder with ground forces and world leaders. Later, as a business owner, his clients included HBO, Discovery Channel, E! Entertainment, Univision, Telemundo, A&E, and many film and television celebrities such as Sylvester Stallone and Penelope Cruz. He brings these unique perspectives and experiences as well as his creativity and thinking “outside the box” with him when dealing with complex issues of local government, where he makes the most of his relationships and connections to ensure our clients receive the best chance of a successful outcome.

Jill E. Jennings

Jill E. Jennings, a Miami native, has been with the firm since 2001. Her career encompasses business ownership, special event management, campaign management, and government experience as Executive Assistant to the Chairman of the City of Miami’s Community Revitalization Agency (CRA) and as a Commissioner’s Legislative Aide. Her knowledge of construction and logistics, as well as her creativity and ability to “get the job done” make her a tremendous asset to the team.

Doug Brown

Doug Brown, a Political Science and Public Affairs graduate of the University of Miami, has 35 years of business management and leadership experience in the construction industry and business development. His expertise in business analysis and cost reduction are invaluable in the development of proposals or bids.
